Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Stack and cut the tortillas into quarters.
  • Combine the olive oil, salt, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small mixing bowl.
  • Brush both sides of the tortilla quarters with the spice mixture.
  • Arrange the tortilla quarters in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the chips for 10-12 minutes, or until crispy and lightly browned.
  • Make the cheddar cheese dip while the chips are baking.
  • Warm the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and salt.
  • Stir together the cornstarch mixture and the milk.
  • Pour in the grated cheddar cheese and stir constantly until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Serve the cheese dip immediately with the homemade nacho chips.
